The second spot of the Empire Ghetto games was the Olympic Stadium. It was a sunny summer Sunday and the competition was friendly and fun.
The second spot of the Empire Ghetto games was the Olympic Stadium. It was a sunny summer Sunday and the competition was friendly and fun.
The modules from the previous competition in Lasalle were used in different ways to create 3 different challenges. The first one was a gap to ledge over handrail high barrier. The second was the bike rack and the 3rd one was a rail and ledge on top of a huge bank.
Overall the competition level was high. A few guys stood out with exceptional performances. Luk Baslanti deserves a shout-out for skating amazingly throughout the ghetto games series. Andrew McGraw, Will Cristofaro and Josh Clark also made their presence felt.
The winners of the Empire Ghetto Games were revealed on Wednesday, September 16, at the Salon Officiel during the premiere of the Ghetto Games movie, which was filmed during the competition. The man with the plan, Phil Beausejour, brought it on the mic, as he did during the competition. Stay tuned for the Empire Ghetto Games video, coming next week to Piktur-this, ya herd !!
