The 2009 SMF tour had its second stop last Saturday night in front of the Bistro de la Gare in Drummondville where the riders showed off what their cat like reflexes.

In this second stop, the riders who didn’t feel ready or wanted more practice before hitting the SMF set up showed up for their first competition of the year.

Quite a few Quebec snowboard celebrities were among the riders last weekend making sure people knew why they were famous. Speaking of famous faces, Jason Dubois, the one who dominated the 2008 SMF tour came down to Drummondville and showed why he landed a full part in the new Standard film. He executed every trick with such ease and agility that it didn’t seem fair! There was also Guillaume Marquis who was landing everything and ended up in the big final against Jason. Guillaume launched a FS 270 lip right in Jason’s face, but he replied with the same trick, only switch and there he was again, on top of the podium.
